Mayra Torres brings 10 years of experience to the Women’s Cancer Care Center as a Medical Assistant aiding in the workup and diagnosis of Uterine Tumors and Uterine Cancer, Ovarian Cysts and Ovarian cancer, and Abnormal Cervical PAP Testing as well as Cervical Cancer. Additionally, Mayra has over 8 years of experience as a Chemotherapy Infusion Specialist, and Coordinator of Chemotherapy Scheduling and Management for Pre and Post Chemotherapy side effect management with prevention and management of symptoms including Nausea and Gastrointestinal symptoms, Rash, Anemias, and Hair Loss. Mayra is trained for Portacath Access and Care in the delivery of Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, and Blood Draws with Portacath flush. She is also trained and experienced in the coordination of care needs for newer oral and Immunotherapy Treatment options which include the PARP inhibitor agents LYNPARZA, ZEJULA, and RUBRICA as well as AVASTIN, and KEYTRUDA now available in the management of gynecologic malignancies.

Shelly Simpson brings 15 years of experience to the Women’s Cancer Care Center as a Registered Technician in Ultrasound Technology, and as a Surgical Coordinator for patients requiring Surgical Scheduling and Coordination of care. Shelly plays a significant role in the workup of patients with Gynecologic ailments including Ultrasound Imaging and assessments for Ovarian Cysts and Ovarian Cancer, Uterine Tumors and Uterine Cancer, Abnormal Cervical PAP smears and Cervical Cancer. In the course of her duties, she plays a major role counseling patients about their upcoming surgery, preoperative assessment, planning and postoperative care needs. She has an expertise in coordinating the plan of care for Robotic Surgery, Robotic Hysterectomy and Tumor Removal, as well as Minor Procedures such as Hysteroscopy, D&C, and the Myosure Uterine Tumor Removal Procedure, which allows for Uterine Preservation in selected patients.

Anca Hildreth brings 15 years of Medical Practice Management experience to the Women’s Cancer Care Center. In the course of her tenure, she has been instrumental in the formation and funding of the Women’s Cancer Care Fund, a 501(C)3 Non-Profit Organization that has funded outreach programs around the world including: India, Nepal, Peru, Cambodia, and the Philippines. With Anca’s help and direction over the past 10 years, the foundation has funded the delivery of clinical and surgical services for hundreds of Gynecologic Cancer patients living in underprivileged regions of the world.

Isalienne brings her bilingual communication skills to the front desk management and plays a pivotal role running the schedule for daily patient appointments. In her role as front desk coordinator, Selina assists patients in their insurance referral process as a courtesy to aid in the continuity of their cancer care needs.
