According to HealthDay (10/27), “a new study reports that the COVID vaccines are producing little to no protection for some” patients with cancer. Researchers found that “nearly 3 out of 5 blood cancer patients failed to mount an immune response against COVID after receiving a full two-dose course of the Pfizer vaccine.” Individuals “with solid tumors also had a less robust response to COVID vaccination compared with healthy folks, researchers added.” The findings were published in Cancer Cell.
