Healio (3/24, Leiser) reports, “Women with early cervical cancer who conceived at least 3 months after fertility-sparing surgery had a high live birth rate, according to results presented at” the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) 2021 Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer. However, Healio says, “these women had elevated risks for preterm delivery and neonatal morbidity compared with healthy controls and women who conceived prior to cervical cancer diagnosis, results of the retrospective, population-based cohort study showed.”
